This Series is for those who feel ready to take greater responsibility for their Emotional Well-Being. A blend of Meditation practices to clarify your mind and sooth your nervous system, together with Self-Inquiry to elicit the wakefulness that illuminates conditioned traits; giving you a way out of entrenched emotional reactivity.
Each Class offers insightful lessons that help to identify outdated defences and immature ego states, while promoting an understanding that attunes you to your deeper Self. Ann-Marie Ahye
Ann-Marie’s personal journey is steeped in over 30 years of contemplative practices; as a seasoned teacher of Emotional Wellness, Mindful Yoga & Meditation and as a practitioner of Contemplative Psychotherapy and Energy Balancing. She seeks to infuse mindful awareness into each modality, knowing this to be essential to meaningful change. Ann-Marie continues to be passionate in all that she shares.
During her earlier career as an architect in London, UK she began a genuine Self-Search prompted by a 4 year exploration in Practical Philosophy. Ann-Marie draws from her inner experiences and insights as well as her training in Hatha and Yin/Insight Yoga. She also draws from several Healing Modalities that she blends into Energy Balancing and a 20+ year study of the Pathwork Guide Teachings; a body of knowledge that enables emotional growth. More recently she has deepened her journey through studies in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Relational Somatic Psychotherapy and is currently a Psychotherapist Intern. She is committed to guiding others through a multi-modal, body-centered approach to unearth toxic and unconscious reactivity and habit patterns. Within a space of open acceptance, she supports clients to access their inner wealth so as to grow their mental and emotional well-being.
Ann-Marie has created a Guided Relaxation CD ‘Travelling Inward’ and a ‘Mindful Yoga’ DVD. She has led Emotional Wellness process groups, and taught Mindful Yoga and Meditation classes/workshops/retreats in Toronto since 1999. She has been a guest presenter at the renowned Health & Wellness Spa, Rancho La Puerta in Mexico for 10 consecutive years and has led 15 week-long Retreats in Tobago, Caribbean. Her upcoming Retreat ‘Deep Within’ will be held in Costa Rica (Feb. 2019).
